Swiss Re Group Cuts Ribbon on New Facility in Fort Wayne

Officials in Fort Wayne marked the completion of two major projects in the city’s Riverfront redevelopment effort Tuesday. The city cut the ribbon on The Riverfront at Promenade Park, an $88.7 million mixed-use development, as well as a $2.6 million park space.

Construction on The Riverfront at Promenade Park began in February 2021. The six-story building includes more than 200 apartments, seven townhomes, and a 900-space parking garage, as well as 15,000 square feet of retail space.

The building also includes 30,000 square feet of office space occupied by Switzerland-based risk management firm Swiss Re Group, which employs about 200 people in Fort Wayne.
