Indy Chamber Leads Workforce Delegation to Switzerland
The Indy Chamber, with the support of the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation, hosted a delegation of 75 leaders from business, K-12 and higher education, and state legislators to Zurich, Switzerland last month to see the Swiss Apprenticeship model in action. This immersive trip included stops at UBS Bank, Roche, and Stadler Rail Group as an opportunity for leaders to fully understand the model as our state leads the nation in the implementation of High School Apprenticeships through INCAP. Leaders met with local business leaders, educators, and apprentices during their time in Zurich, alongside breakout sessions to better understand our different industry, legislative, and educational challenges as we roll out the INCAP model.
