German Consul General Visits Indiana

In November, German Consul General Mr. Michael Ahrens visited Indiana to meet with business, education, and cultural leaders throughout the state.

Beginning in Terre Haute, Mr. Ahrens visited the Candles Holocaust Museum before heading to Vincennes to meet with Mayor Joe Yochum and tour Germany-based SCHOTT’s glass ceramic production facility.

The Consul General then headed to Indiana University to meet with educational leaders before journeying to Mitchell to tour Heidelberg Materials’ state-of-the-art cement facility. Mr. Ahrens ended his Indiana journey in West Lafayette, meeting with Purdue University officials.
