Deputy Ambassador of Germany Visits Indiana

The Indiana-Germany Business Council was delighted to welcome Axel Dittmann, Deputy Ambassador of Germany, to Indianapolis to learn more about the political and business environment within the Hoosier State. Facilitated and supported by the Bertelsmann Foundation, the delegation began their visit by meeting with the Indiana Capital Chronicle before heading to Hamilton County to meet with Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam. After the delegation toured Germany-based INDEX Corporation’s facility in Noblesville, the delegation had a dinner meeting with Westfield Mayor Scott Willis and Noblesville Deputy Mayor Matt Light.

The next morning, the delegation held a business roundtable discussion with IGBC Members before ending their visit with meetings with Governor Eric Holcomb, Speaker of the House Todd Huston, and Representative Carey Hamilton.
