History
The Indiana-Germany Business Council (IGBC) was founded in 2021 by Colin Renk and Andrea Richter-Garry. With the support of the Founding Partners of Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Barnes & Thornburg, and The International Center, the organization was formally launched in 2022 by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and Vice German Consul Christopher Fuchs.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Indiana-Germany Business Council, Inc. is to strengthen bilateral business, public, and educational ties between the state of Indiana and the German-speaking region of Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
Vision Statement:
To elevate Indiana as the leader in sub-national engagement with Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
